Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)

We're looking for Population Health Informaticists to bring their expertise to projects that sit at the intersection of public health and artificial intelligence. Your deep knowledge of population-level health data will directly inform how AI understands, analyzes, and interprets complex health systems — making a meaningful difference in how tomorrow's AI tools approach healthcare challenges.

What You'll Do

• Apply your population health expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated analyses, outputs, and recommendations
• Collect, integrate, and assess population health metrics to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improving health outcomes
• Design and review dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support health monitoring, surveillance, and decision-making
• Translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable strategies and data-driven recommendations
• Provide structured feedback on the accuracy, relevance, and quality of AI outputs in public health contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Hands-on experience working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large-scale health data
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools — dashboards, pipelines, and surveillance frameworks
• Skilled at communicating complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data quality
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
• Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health informatics
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows in health contexts
• Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL
