Job summary

Bridon International is seeking a Polymer Technologist to join their Technology Centre in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This role involves researching, designing, and developing new and existing products, particularly in Polymers and Lubricants which are essential for Wire and Fibre Rope solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Development and Technology Centre Manager and will benefit from a salary range of £30,000-£50,000 based on experience, alongside additional benefits.

Qualifications

• University-level Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Materials with a Polymer specialism).
• Postgraduate or PhD level academic research experience or qualification.
• Knowledge of Polymer science and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Problem solve and propose solutions based on previous knowledge or experience.
• Initiate, lead and co-ordinate NPD initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports.
