Job summary

LINEAGE LOGISTICS HOLDINGS, LLC is seeking a warehouse operative for our Chilled Warehouse in NG22 8TX. The role is physical, requiring standing, lifting up to 18kg, and regular movement around the warehouse as you pick and record product details.

You will work in a safety-conscious environment, follow procedures, and use site equipment to update inventory. Good English communication and reliability are essential for effective teamwork.

Job description

The role

In this role you will:

• Get a lot of exercise being on your feet all day and walking around our warehouse; the job is quite physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food and bottles of drinks.
• You will do this in our Chilled Warehouse.
• In our warehouse you can expect the average temperature to be around 5 degrees, but you will receive full PPE.
• You will need to be able to communicate well with other team members.
• Pick products on paper.
• Record the amount of products and weights using site specific equipment to update inventory.
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor.
• We are working in a safety conscious environment, and you will need to follow safety procedures at all times.

Who we’re looking for:

• Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time.
• Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to 18kg (that’s about 10 bags of sugar).
• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
• Due to limited public transport, you must have your own transport to NG22 8TX.
• Due to cold storage conditions, you must be aged 18 or over.
