Job summary

Membership Bespoke is seeking a Policy & Public Affairs Officer for a leading UK healthcare membership organisation. Hybrid working with one day in the Hertfordshire office and four days from home.

You will research current and emerging policy issues, develop evidence-based policy positions and prepare briefs, reports, consultation responses and committee papers. • Experience in policy, public affairs, advocacy or a related environment.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse current and emerging policy issues and assess their implications for members.
• Lead and support the development of evidence-based policy positions reflecting members’ interests.
• Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, consultation responses and committee papers.
• Support the delivery of policy and public affairs campaigns.
• Monitor developments across Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved nations.
• Support engagement with politicians, civil servants and other stakeholders.
• Communicate policy issues clearly to colleagues, members and external audiences.
