About This Job

This is an entry‑level Policy Analyst role, suitable for candidates completing a Master’s degree or with up to two years of relevant work experience in consulting, government, or related agencies.

You will support project managers across all our thematic areas to deliver studies, evaluations, and impact assessments. The role requires a good understanding of the policy environment and knowledge of UK and/or EU policy topics aligned to our core areas of business.

The successful candidate will contribute to policy studies and evaluations in line with advances in research methods and evolving government guidelines for evidence‑based policymaking.

Qualifications
You Must Have
  • Academic background in a relevant subject at Masters level or above
  • Affinity with one or more of the policy areas in which we work and knowledge of current developments in the field
  • Good command of qualitative and/or quantitative evaluation methods
  • Highly computer literate (e.g., MS Office, statistics packages)
  • Ability to write well and to a professional standard, in English
  • Self‑motivation, intellectual curiosity and an ability to work independently and across different disciplines
  • A willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary, international teams
Other desirable attributes include
  • Proficiency in using statistical analysis software
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi‑task, and work under strict deadlines
