A national security agency in the UK is seeking Police Constables to safeguard against terrorism and serious crime. Successful candidates will join a vital unit responsible for managing threats at borders and collaborating with intelligence services. The role involves intelligence gathering, responding to threats, and close cooperation with partner agencies. Positions are available primarily in Portsmouth and Farnborough, with opportunities for long-term engagement in counter-terrorism efforts.
We are currently advertising several opportunities for substantive Police Constables to join Counter Terrorism Policing Borders (CTPB), playing a vital role on the front line in safeguarding national security against the threats of terrorism and serious organised crime. These opportunities will be for positions based at either Portsmouth or Farnborough.
In addition to filling current vacancies, we are also creating a talent pool to meet anticipated officer needs over the next 12 months. Candidates who successfully pass the interview process will remain in this pool for up to 12 months from the date of their interview
Officers are tasked to manage the known and unknown threats posed by individuals and groups seeking to travel across borders in furtherance of terrorism and serious organised crime. The role is intrinsic to the UK Counter Terrorism Strategy and supporting the British Intelligence Services in mitigating the threat to UK interests at home and abroad.
