Surrey Downs Health and Care Leatherhead is seeking a Podiatry Assistant to join our podiatry team, delivering foot care and education to a dedicated patient caseload referred by a podiatrist.

The role involves assisting podiatrists in foot clinics, wound dressings, nail surgery support, and clinic organisation across community clinics, care homes and domiciliary settings. A car is required for this role and full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Car driver with access to a car for business use.
• Secondary education including English & Maths at C or above.
• Podiatry assistant or health care equivalent qualification or demonstrable previous experience or completion of a local competency.

Responsabilités

• Provide a range of clinical, diagnostic and administrative functions.
• Work as an integral member of the podiatry team, providing foot care to a pre-assessed caseload.
• Assist podiatrists with foot care, health promotion, and maintain progress of treatments.
• Organise and assist in podiatric clinics and nail surgery administration.
• Perform diagnostic tests as directed by podiatrists and report findings.
• Undertake stock management, ordering, and data collection for audit.
