Job description

Job Title: Private Podiatrist
Salary: Band 6 (up to £48K basic) + commission of approx £25K
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

You’ve built your career around helping people move better, feel better and live with greater confidence. But your next Podiatrist role should invest just as much in your development as you do in your patients.

Whether you’re an ambitious Podiatry graduate looking for the right environment to grow, an experienced private-practice clinician ready for greater autonomy, or a senior Podiatrist looking towards mentoring and leadership, this is an opportunity that can evolve around you.

You’ll join an established multidisciplinary private healthcare environment with existing patient demand, a strong referral network and genuine scope to shape the future of its podiatry service.

Why this role

This isn’t a position with a fixed ceiling. You’ll receive a basic salary of £30,000–£55,000 depending on your experience and clinical skillset, alongside additional commission and a structured career pathway.

You’ll have clinical autonomy without being left on your own. You’ll work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and other healthcare professionals in a supportive MSK environment where exceptional patient care comes before arbitrary targets.

What you’ll do

Your focus will be providing excellent general podiatric care, diagnosing and managing a broad range of conditions while developing trusted, long-term patient relationships.

Experience in nail surgery, Swift® microwave therapy, lower-limb biomechanics, MSK podiatry or advanced podiatric treatments would be particularly valuable, but it isn’t essential. The right attitude, patient manner and potential matter just as much as an impressive CV.

As the service grows, your role could expand into advanced treatments, service development, domiciliary podiatry, mentoring or future clinical leadership.

About you

You’ll need a recognised Podiatry qualification, current HCPC registration and appropriate professional indemnity insurance. You’ll be confident working independently while genuinely enjoying collaboration with other clinicians.

Most importantly, you’ll be personable, ambitious and patient-centred. You’ll want to build a loyal patient list through excellent care and communication, contribute ideas and continue developing professionally.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for travel between the two clinic locations. Sponsorship is not currently available.

Rewards & growth

Alongside your salary and commission, you’ll receive 28 days’ annual leave including Bank Holidays, increasing with service, a 3% employer pension contribution and up to £500 annual CPD investment.

You’ll also benefit from protected mentoring and clinical development, relevant specialist training, wellbeing sessions, gym access, selected complimentary or discounted healthcare services, and flexibility where operationally possible.

Full-time applicants are preferred for the 40-hour week, although strong part-time candidates will also be considered.
