PODCAST ROOM, London's newest podcast studio, is seeking a Podcast Producer / Studio Host on a freelance contract. The role involves hands-on recording and editing for a range of podcasts, from startup founders to iconic brands, in a collaborative studio environment near London Bridge.

You’ll welcome clients, manage sessions, and handle editing projects using DaVinci Resolve, with access to professional gear including Sony FX3 cameras and Shure SM7B mics.

Responsibilities

The Role

We’re looking for someone to join the team at London's newest podcast studio as we look to open our second studio room in October.

Podcast Producer / Studio Host

Location: Onsite, London Bridge

Type: Freelance contract

Hours: Flexible with minimum 20hrs per week - including a mix of weekdays and evenings and rarely weekends.

When: Mid-late Sept Start

This is a unique role where you'll get hands‑on experience recording and producing a variety of podcasts for businesses, brands and creators. You’ll work with people just starting out to hosting iconic names and brands you’ll recognise from your telly and Insta feeds.

The studio’s are based in a creative serviced office space located a short 2 minute walk from London Bridge station.

This role is ideal for freelancer editor/producers looking to gain more experience in the podcast industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Studio Host

• You’ll welcome customers into the studio and set up the camera’s and mics based on the clients requirements. This includes positioning and focusing the cameras, sound checks and then monitoring the session.

Producing/Editing

You’ll work directly with clients to manage editing projects.

• You’ll use Davinci Resolve to clean the audio, edit video camera switches, colour grade, cut pre/post amble, cut mistakes, add graphics, logos, music, and make social media clips.
• Recording tech you’ll be using: Sony FX3 camera’s, Shure SM7Bs Mics, and recording tech such as ATEM Mini Pro and Rodecaster Pro 2.

Skill Requirements

• Solid experience creating and editing podcasts or similar video content on DaVinci Resolve or similar
• Some experience using camera/audio equipment.
