Job summary

SSE is recruiting a Project Planner to support the Bridge Programme PMO, developing and maintaining integrated project schedules that provide clear visibility of progress, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones across the programme.

You will collaborate with Integrated Project Managers and delivery teams, lead planning assurance activities, analyse schedule impacts and drive continuous improvement through standards, tools and best practice.

Qualifications

• Proven project planning experience in large-scale programmes.
• Strong expertise in integrated project schedules, dependencies and critical path.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and planning tools.
• PMO experience supporting project and programme delivery.
• Ability to analyse schedule performance and provide clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise integrated project schedules that show progress, dependencies, risks and milestones.
• Provide planning support to Integrated Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Lead planning assurance activities ensuring adequate detail, quality and control.
• Analyse schedules and change impacts, recommending viability and recovery actions.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing standards, tools and best practice; coach teams.
