PMO Manager – Salary up to £60,000‑£70,000 per annum depending on experience (FTC).

Application deadline: 31st December 2025. Location: London (Hybrid – minimum two days in office).

Following Saga's announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, as PMO Manager you will support the Programme Management team with the execution of all PMO functions in the delivery of the overall Programme throughout 2025. Reporting into the Programme Manager you’ll be responsible for key areas of the programme office including planning and dependency management across a large, multi‑workstream programme team; weekly/monthly production of governance materials to support Steering and Operating committees; execution of existing processes including resource management, interlock with finance and budgeting teams, and RAID management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Programme Management Office and the Programme team and workstream leads in executing their key activities throughout delivery.
  • Create individual and consolidated workstream and programme planning artefacts.
  • Track associated risk, issue, dependencies and assumptions with a particular focus on dependency management.
  • Weekly status reporting at a workstream level and consolidate into Steering and Operating committee materials.
  • Capture action from key governance forums and associated management and closure.
  • Interface with other key roles within the PMO including finance budget management, resourcing and risk management.
  • Schedule meetings and book rooms (via Executive Assistants).
  • Review and update Programme artefacts to ensure best‑practice is maintained regarding storage, sign‑off etc.
  • Align with and support other members of the Programme Office driving delivery in areas including technology alignment.
  • Joint plan management with third parties.
The Ideal Candidate

Successful PMO managers have experience supporting complex, large programme delivery projects across technology and business teams. Experience in insurance is not essential, but a background in financial services and an understanding of regulation would be advantageous.
