Job summary

La Fosse is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to establish and run a technology and product PMO for a global technology organisation of around 700 employees. The role requires some on-site presence to begin with in Oxfordshire, with potential to move to fully remote.

This hands-on, autonomous position will partner with the CTO, CPO, Project Managers and senior leadership to deliver greater visibility and control across the technology portfolio, driving governance, reporting and delivery health.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing, resetting or significantly improving a PMO.
• Strong technology/product portfolio experience including Azure DevOps experience.
• Excellent portfolio governance and delivery assurance capability.
• Experience with resource/capacity planning and project financials.
• Confident working directly with CTO/CPO/Board-level stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge.
• Autonomous, hands-on PMO Lead.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve the PMO framework, governance and reporting.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight across milestones, RAID, dependencies and delivery health.
• Develop visibility of resource demand, capacity and utilisation.
• Track budgets, forecasts, costs and benefits alongside Finance.
• Produce concise, decision-focused reporting for executive and Board audiences.
• Challenge Project Managers constructively and drive consistent reporting without direct line authority.
• Improve and automate portfolio reporting and processes.

PMO Lead - £85,000 - Setting up PMO function - Remote

We are looking for an experienced PMO Lead to establish and run a technology and product PMO for a global technology organisation - circa 700 employees.

The role will require some onsite presence to begin with in Oxfordshire to establish relationships and then can develop to fully remote.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll work closely with the CTO, CPO, Project Managers and senior leadership, creating greater visibility and control across the technology portfolio.
