We're looking for an IT Senior Business Analyst (Finance) to join our Booker IT team in a brand-new role. You'll be working closely with our Finance teams to support changes, make sure we're compliant, and help deliver the systems they need. Day to day, you'll be supporting Finance colleagues, helping resolve issues that pop up, and sharing your knowledge so the team can make the best decisions.

What You Will Do

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in solution delivery and work processes using modern digital technology.
• Continuously learn and train users across the organisation.
• Oversee and resolve problem tickets.
• Provide essential knowledge and expertise to aid informed decision‑making.
• Oversee SAP maintenance (FI/CO), manage user and cost centre configurations, and handle Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Safeguard system integrity, adhere to ICFR controls, and perform routine and ad‑hoc tasks to support Finance teams.
• Ensure financial systems are secure, operate effectively, and maintain exceptional precision.

Role Details

Role Title: PMO Analyst

Duration: contract to run until 30/11/2026

Location: Hybrid 3 days per week onsite, either Sheffield or Birmingham

Rate: up to £322 per day, Umbrella inside IR35

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• SAP experience essential – solid experience in SAP testing, preferably within an ECC6 environment.
• Experience managing change from conception and design to testing, delivery and support.
• Project delivery experience.
• Commercially aware and keen to understand the wholesale business and how different functions interact.
• Good people management with proven ability to work effectively with internal and external teams.
• Service management skills with experience of successful support provision and project leadership.
• Consistent delivery of results.
