Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant in Abingdon to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping with communication, sensory development and participation in lessons.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual students' needs.
• Support students with communication, sensory development, emotional wellbeing, independence and engagement in learning.
• Assist students with accessing learning activities and developing confidence and participation.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a safe, structured, inclusive learning environment.
