TLTP Group is seeking two qualified teachers to join a secondary SEN school in Walthamstow, urgently. The role focuses on pupils with complex needs and PMLD, requiring flexible planning and multi-sensory learning activities.

You will work with groups of 6–8 pupils, supported by at least three LSAs, and contribute to safeguarding, assessment and personalised learning plans. Experience with ASD/complex needs and PECS/MAKATON is preferred.

Qualificações

• Qualified teacher with QTS and SEN experience.
• Experience with ASD or complex needs.
• Willing to provide personal care.
• Strong behaviour management.
• Ability to plan and deliver multi-sensory learning activities.
• Experience with PECS or MAKATON preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement school policies and schemes of work tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver curriculum aligned with school philosophy and policies.
• Organise personalised, differentiated learning activities.
• Use recognised approaches (TEACCH, PECS, SCERTS, Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction) as appropriate.
• Manage literacy, numeracy and ICT within subjects.
• Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour support.
• Lead on specific teaching areas and contribute to pastoral arrangements.
• Maintain safeguarding and accurate record-keeping for pupils.
