I have Autism, cerebral palsy and limited speech and I walk with assistance.

I like listening to all types of music and find it makes me happy.

I really like to go out for rides in the car and like to go shopping and to places I like to eat at for example KFC. PURPOSE OF JOB I require support within the home and in the community.

HOURS OF WORK 21 hours per week Times and days to be confirmed at interview.

RATES OF PAY £15.25 per hour.

TASKS INVOLVED Personal care and toileting needs Assistance with bathing Help with brushing teeth Dressing, undressing Meals and preparation Social outings, community activities Shopping Household duties / light cleaning Any other reasonable task TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Female Reliable Trustworthy Friendly Proactive Respect for working in the home Car driver is needed.

ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance.

The wage will be paid two weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check

  • which will need to be carried out before employment can commence.

The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
