JOB DESCRIPTION



Part-Time Personal Assistant



A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF



I am a 15 year old boy living in the Pontypridd area, I live with my mum, step dad, 2 sisters our 2 dogs and 2 turtles. My interests are gaming on his PC or Xbox mostly with fortnight, I also enjoys Roblox.

I enjoy a game of pool, going to the cinema, going swimming and I am very creative and enjoy arts and craft activities.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism with PDA OCD and is hypermobile - he struggles to walk sometimes due to pain in legs, feet and knees. I am medicated and depending on the time agreement I will require to be supervised to take my medication.

This can affect my behaviour and I can get aggressive at times especially if I am not getting my own way- when I get like this I need some space to allow myself to calm down.





PURPOSE OF THE JOB



To have support out in the local community.



RATE(S) OF PAY



£12.50 per hour



HOURS OF WORK



4 hours a week on a weekend



TASKS CAN INCLUDE



Going to the cinema to watch a film.
Playing a game of pool together.
Assess activities in the local community.







TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED



An outgoing and bubbly person.
A Car driver is preferred.
Someone who has similar interests to help and encourage engagement.
A person who can recognised my needs and adapt to behaviour changes.
Someone who can encourage my independence.



ABOUT THE JOB



This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.



All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
