A community support organization is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to aid a vision-impaired mother in Aberdare. A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
Personal Assistant to support a 34-year-old female living in the Trecynon, Aberdare area. The service user is outgoing and a social person. She is a mother of two cheeky little monsters who are funny and fun loving. Her daughter is 3 – going on 4, and her baby is 5 months old. She is a Vision Impaired person as well as a guide dog user to a wonderful black labrador named Daisy, who is getting on herself at the age of 8. The service user enjoys going out and about, doing new things, going swimming, playing goalball and watching her children go and find their own fun.
I am seeking a second PA due to being awarded additional hours to support in the home and out in the community. The role is to support herself as well as her children.
10 hours per week
£14.00 per hour
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
