Female Personal Assistant

About Myself

I am a mature lady living in Talbot Green area. I have a condition called Ankylosing Spondylities, which causes my joints be painful and my legs are painful when swollen resulting in limited mobility. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support in my home. The job role will include some personal care. I value my independence and would like to maintain this as much as possible. I enjoy chatting and shopping, jigsaw puzzles, and TV game shows.

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job is to support in the home with personal care tasks & meal preparation.

Hours of Work

2 hours per day - Monday to Sunday

Rates of Pay

£14.00 per hour

Tasks Can Include

• Having a chat about any interesting items
• Supervising transfers to bathroom
• Support with showering
• Applying cream, put stockings on and off
• Changing Dressing on foot (Small wound)
• Help with dressing/undressing
• Change bedding if needed
• Accompanying to appointments
• Support with meal preparation
• Prompt with medication

About the Job

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
