Job summary

Alliance Healthcare in Newcastle is seeking a part-time Warehouse Operative to join our pharmaceutical distribution centre. You will replenish stock in automated systems, pick and pack across zones, and route orders to transport channels while maintaining high accuracy and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have flexibility, teamwork skills, and a careful approach to detail. Previous warehouse or pharmaceutical experience is desirable but not required, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support or similar.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or logistics environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with picking/packing processes and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Replenish stock within automated picking system.
• Pick and pack customer orders across manual, bulk, fridge and secure areas.
• Route orders to transport and distribution channels.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity; follow SOPs and quality requirements.
• Support efficient flow of products; adhere to health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet targets and service levels.
