Job summary

Harlow College is seeking a full-time Technician for the Plumbing delivery team. The role supports practical and theory teaching in the plumbing workshop, preparing learning materials, supervising learners, and maintaining stock, inventories and safety.

Requires Level 2 Plumbing, Level 2 Maths and English, and an enhanced DBS check. Nice-to-have: construction industry experience and a proactive approach in a fast-paced FE environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Plumbing qualification.
• Level 2 Maths and English qualification.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the day-to-day activities of the Plumbing delivery team.
• Assist with the planning, preparation and use of learning materials.
• Supervise and advise learners on practical and theory work.
• Monitor stock levels, order and receive materials.
• Maintain inventories.
• Ensure health and safety in the Plumbing workshop.
