Job summary

Harlow College is seeking a passionate Plumbing Teacher to deliver theory and practical Plumbing lessons to full-time students and apprentices up to Level 2. The college will support the successful applicant in gaining their teaching qualification while working at no cost.

This full-time, permanent role is based in Harlow with a focus on quality training and industry readiness. The role offers a competitive salary up to £44,260 for qualified applicants and up to £35,063 for unqualified

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (A1) and/or Verifier qualification (V1) or willing to work towards this
• Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above
• Industry experience in Plumbing
• Experience teaching or training others
• Level 4 or above teaching qualification or willing to work towards this
• GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons in Plumbing
• Prepare, plan, and deliver learning sessions
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training to develop learners' industry-ready skills
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide feedback
• Support individual learning needs and remove barriers to learning
• Create an inclusive learning environment
• Stay current with industry trends and best practice
