Peterborough College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Technician Trainer - Plumbing to support and inspire learners within our Technical & Modern Construction Skills faculty. If you're passionate about the plumbing trade, enjoy working hands‑on, and want to help develop the skills of future professionals, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference.
As a Technician Trainer, you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality training and practical support to learners at all levels. You'll work closely with lecturing staff, guiding students through their practical activities, developing their confidence, and ensuring a safe, well‑organised workshop environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced plumber who enjoys sharing knowledge—even if you haven't taught before. Full training and development (including teaching and Health & Safety qualifications) is available for the right candidate.
If you don't yet have teaching, First Aid or Health & Safety qualifications - don't worry. We will support you to achieve these.
