Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment is seeking a Plumbing Supervisor to lead a team of 12-14 plumbers across the Midlands. Based out of the Corby office, you will split time between office, site visits, and remote work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) and G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems; RPZ ticket preferred.
• Experience in water hygiene plumbing and supervisory/leadership.
• Full UK Driving License required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise up to 14 plumbers, coaching, mentoring and maintaining a training matrix.
• Manage team schedules, rotas, sickness and annual leave.
• Oversee procurement by raising POs and managing vehicle stock.

You'll get 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to up to 25 days with years of service.

What you'll be doing

As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will lead a team of 12-14 plumbers across the Midlands. You will be based out of our Corby office, splitting your time between office-based operations, site visits, and remote working.

• Directly supervise up to 14 plumbers. This includes coaching and mentoring, conducting competency assessments, creating/maintaining a training matrix, and driving the professional development of your team.
• Manage team schedules and approve rotas, sickness, and annual leave.
• Handle daily procurement by raising Purchase Orders (POs) and overseeing comprehensive vehicle stock control.
• Perform technical checks on completed jobs, conduct "toolbox talks," and provide hands‑on technical assistance to Account Managers.
• Assist in the recruitment process and provide hands‑on onboarding for new starters.
• Oversee complex plumbing works on‑site, ensuring all projects meet our high standards of quality and safety.
• Regularly attend the Corby office to manage administrative requirements and team coordination.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will need a City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent), G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification and ideally RPZ ticket. You should have proven experience in water hygiene plumbing and supervisory experience or team lead capacity.

A Full UK Driving License Is Essential.
