As the Plumbing and Heating sector continues to evolve, there is an increasing demand for engineers with knowledge of renewable technologies. To support this, you'll receive specialist training in Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal, and Rainwater Recycling, allowing you to broaden your own expertise while helping apprentices prepare for the future of the industry.
In this role, you'll deliver a combination of practical workshop sessions, classroom-based learning, and workplace assessments. You'll mentor and support apprentices throughout their qualifications, helping them develop the technical skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to build successful careers.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 qualification and domestic gas experience. Previous teaching or assessing experience isn't required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications, and ongoing support will be provided.
