Job summary

Aira is seeking plumbers and heating engineers to join our team of Clean Energy Technicians in the UK. We provide training at the Aira Academy; you will work with experienced installers to ensure high-quality heat pump installations; no prior heat pump experience is required.

You will become part of a Europe-wide team of engineers and have opportunities for professional growth with the UK’s fastest growing heat pump installer. Aira offers a competitive base salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework is required.
• Optional: NVQ Level 3 plumbing, WRAS, unvented hot water systems, and gas qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install the latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders and radiators as part of a team to lower costs and carbon footprint.
• Work with your team and designers to ensure efficient, reliable systems are fitted, with survey data and schematic diagrams provided.
• Train at the Aira Academy to become a leading Plumbing and Heating Engineer and progress to a Heat Pump Installer role.
• Join a Europe-wide team of engineers as part of the Aira family.

Education

NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)

NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)

WRAS Qualifications (water regs)

Unvented hot water systems (part G)
