Are you an experienced plumber or plumbing tutor looking to inspire the next generation of trades professionals? A leading Chester based FE college is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Lecturer to join their teaching team.

You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, hands‑on learning to students at further education level, supporting them to develop essential skills and achieve their qualifications. Whether you come from an industry background or already have teaching experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Plumbing across a range of FE programmes.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum standards.
  • Support and mentor students, helping them progress into employment or further study.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain excellent teaching standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (Level 3 or above).
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or willingness to work towards).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate learners.
  • Industry experience within plumbing and heating (desirable if not already teaching).
