Job summary

Metro Plumb is seeking a confident Reactive Plumbing Engineer to cover North & South London with a 40-hour week on a rota. You will carry out plumbing installations and maintenance across domestic and commercial customers, attending emergency jobs and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

NVQ Level 2 is essential; gas and pump experience, renewable energy knowledge, and unvented certification are advantageous. A full UK driving licence and DBS clearance (or willingness) are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing/ Heating Engineer for domestic and commercial customers.
• NVQ Level 2 is essential.
• Gas and pump experience is preferred but not essential.
• Renewable energy experience is an advantage.
• Unvented certification is preferred but not essential.
• DBS checked or willing to obtain.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including toilets, taps, valves, cylinders and heating systems.
• Attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations, leaks and issues.
• Provide high-quality customer service and maintain safety standards.

40 hours per week (rota system in place)
Salary £37,095 - £40,838 DOE plus overtime & benefits (additional 5-6K per annum)

What’s involved?

We are looking for a confident plumber who can carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including but not limited to, installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders, heating systems etc across a range of domestic and commercial customers. You will attend primarily attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations/leaks/issues.
