Job summary

West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Programme Tutor- Plumbing and Domestic Heating to coach and mentor apprentices and prepare them for End Point Assessment.

You will liaise with employers and staff to ensure learners are work-ready; NVQ Level 3 plumbing and heating qualification (or CCN1) is required, with knowledge of renewable energies. Travel to student sites will be required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification (or CCN1) required.
• Knowledge of renewable energies (e.g., Low Carbon) beneficial.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring people is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor apprentices to support their learning.
• Liaise with employers and staff to ensure learners are prepared for End Point Assessment.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of plumbing/domestic heating teaching.
