Job summary

WysePower is recruiting a commercial Plumber / Plumbing Engineer to join onsite teams from our Eaglescliffe depot, covering sites across the North-East. You’ll install temporary water supplies, waste connections and welfare fit-outs, predominantly using 25mm MDPE pipe and 40mm Flopast wastepipe.

Take ownership of plumbing works, including site surveys, installation and material procurement, while carrying out reactive and planned maintenance and assisting electrical teams on various sites.

Qualifications

• A recognised City & Guilds or NVQ Plumbing qualification is mandatory.
• CSCS card holder required.
• Ability to diagnose faults and read technical drawings.
• Good communicator, diligent and self-motivated.
• Current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install temporary water supplies, waste connections and welfare fit-out on site.
• Carry out site surveys, installation and procure materials as needed.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance while supporting electrical teams.
• Work across sites in the North-East from the Eaglescliffe depot.

Job Opportunity

We have a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic commercial Plumber / Plumbing Engineer, working from our Eaglescliffe depot on sites across the North-East.

We are a specialist in construction site temporary services; therefore, the work will consist of the installation of temporary accommodation water supplies, waste connections, and temporary welfare fit out including toilets, showers, and kitchens. We predominately use 25mm MDPE pipe and 40mm Flopast wastepipe.

The goal for the correct candidate is to become a competent, multi-skilled engineer and take ownership of the plumbing works including site survey, installation, and material procurement. Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks whilst assisting our electrical teams installing temporary cabling, lighting, transformers, and site strip outs on various sites throughout the region.

Essential Skills

• A recognised City & Guilds or NVQ Plumbing qualification is mandatory.
