Job summary

VIVID in Basingstoke is seeking two Plumber Multis with Unvented Certification to service properties across North Hampshire. You’ll manage unvented hot water systems, perform repairs, installations and alterations, and undertake basic carpentry and maintenance tasks.

You will work from our Basingstoke office and join an on-call rota. Required qualifications: NVQ Level 2 plumbing and a current G3 unvented qualification, plus a clean driving licence and relevant experience.

• Recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Current Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification (G3 or equivalent).
• Significant experience in a similar role with fault‑finding and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installations and alterations.
• Work on unvented hot water systems and identify/rectify faults.
• Undertake multi‑trade tasks including basic carpentry and other maintenance works.
• Use an electronic device to manage schedules, complete records and admin duties.

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Plumber Multis with Unvented Certification to join our team. Contractually based out of our Basingstoke office and covering the North Hampshire and surrounding areas, you’ll undertake a wide range of plumbing and maintenance duties, including work on unvented hot water systems.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week, with regular participation in the on‑call rota.

Here’s The Facts About The Role

As a Plumber Multi, you'll carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installations, and alterations within our properties. This will include working on unvented hot water systems, identifying, diagnosing and rectifying faults, and carrying out repairs to plumbing systems, sanitary ware, and associated fixtures and fittings. You'll also undertake a variety of multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry and other skilled maintenance works, to ensure our customers receive a high-quality service.

The role will involve using an electronic handheld device to manage and update work schedules, complete job records, and carry out light administrative duties.

To be successful, you'll need a recognised Plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) together with a current Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification (G3 or equivalent). You must be able to provide proof of qualifications if shortlisted for interview. You'll also have significant experience in a similar role, with strong fault‑finding skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
