Shift Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) – Training & Unlimited Progression
Salary: £42,000 – £44,000 (base) + OTE £50,000. Location: Aylesbury – playing a key role in a world‑renowned food organisation.
Responsibilities
- Undertake plumbing and other trade repairs and maintenance work, providing high‑quality, ‘right first time’ building services to the business and its customers.
- Conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industrial standards, minimising damage to the fabric of the property.
- Work on a rota basis (Monday to Friday), using a company van while holding a valid manual UK driving licence.
- Maintain complete and accurate job records and report any health and safety incidents as per company policy.
- Assist with learning and training opportunities available through the Wisebox platform as part of ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment.
- NVQ2 qualification or equivalent and/or long‑term relevant trade experience.
- Extended skills in ceramic tiling, basic carpentry, vinyl floor laying & decorating welcome.
- Minimum one year of significant driving experience.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant legislation.
