Job summary

Hard Hat Recruitment Agency Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber / Mechanical Pipefitter to join a busy commercial team on projects in Guildford, Newbury, Southampton and Portsmouth.

You will be responsible for commercial plumbing and mechanical pipework, including first and second fix, copper pipework, above-ground drainage, heating pipework, and general plumbing tasks; CSCS card essential; own van, transport and tools required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in commercial plumbing / mechanical pipework.
• CSCS card (essential).
• Your own van / transport and your own tools.
• Ability to work neatly and to a high standard.
• Must be able to work independently and use your own initiative.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable, self‑motivated tradesperson looking for a route to a permanent position.

What you'll be doing

• Commercial plumbing and mechanical pipework, including:
• First fix and second fix
• Copper pipework and press‑fit
• Above‑ground drainage
• Heating pipework
• General plumbing works

You’ll often be working on your own initiative, so we’re looking for someone who can be trusted to crack on and produce neat, high‑quality work to a good standard.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience in commercial plumbing / mechanical pipework
• CSCS card (essential)
• Your own van / transport and your own tools
• Ability to work neatly and to a high standard
• Must be able to work independently and use your own initiative at times
• Good time‑keeping and communication skills

Note: Gas Safe is not required for this role.
