Plumber / Mechanical Engineer required

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Woolwich, London SE18 4QH

Rate: £22.00 – £23.60 per hour (Umbrella / CIS)

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (days & nights)

Contract Type: Ongoing / Long-term

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber / Mechanical Engineer to work on valuing a healthcare site at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich. This is a shift-based role covering both day and night work, supporting critical hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out plumbing and mechanical maintenance and repair works
  • Responding to reactive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring all works are completed in compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Working within a live healthcare environment, maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Liaising with site management and other trades as required
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
  • Good level of industry experience in plumbing / mechanical works
