Job Role : Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance Plumber)
Location : HMP Feltham (TW13)
Salary : £41,818.21 per annum + 5% for shift work covering weekends
Contract : Permanent, 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at HMP Feltham, a category C prison and a Young Offender Institution holding young people from 15 and men up to the age of 30 years old.

HMP Feltham operates as a self-contained facility; the Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to driving smooth and safe operation, with all activities impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in roles including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators and others, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Contribute to a safe and secure environment by maintaining and improving mechanical and plumbing systems within the prison facility, in line with regulatory and safety requirements. Collaborate with trades teams to support operational needs and ensure reliable service delivery.
