A facilities management company in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced Plumber to perform mobile plumbing repairs across NHS properties in Kent. This role requires expertise in various plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and replacing fittings. Successful candidates should have strong customer service skills and a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Plumbing. Additional benefits include a company van and generous annual leave, making it a rewarding opportunity for dedicated professionals.
Annual salary: up to £38,250.00
Location: Tonbridge, Sevenoaks but travel where needed across Kent
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary up to £36,000 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card
42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday-Friday)
Our Kent Facilities Management branch supports two major NHS Trusts in the Kent region. The branch is responsible for administering all activities related to delivering facilities management services across multiple buildings. Our purpose is to ensure these buildings are safe, compliant, and fully operational for their users. Some of our core repair and maintenance functions include – Gas, Electrical, Lifts, Water and General plumbing and building works. Our clients—Kent & Medway Partnership Trust (Mental Health Services) and Kent Community Health Foundation Trust—provide care across offices, secure units, clinics, dental surgeries, and inpatient/outpatient facilities throughout Kent.
We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Plumber to join our expanding team, supporting a busy responsive repairs contract in Kent. This is a practical, hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks in NHS mental health properties.
From fixing leaks and replacing taps to diagnosing more complex issues with heating systems or drainage, you’ll be the go‑to expert for keeping homes safe, functional, and comfortable. You’ll be working directly with residents, so a professional approach and strong customer service skills are essential.
