A leading infrastructure provider is seeking a skilled Plumber for a permanent position at HMP Durham. This role involves routine maintenance, water supply repairs, and fault inspections, with a requirement of NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating. We are excited to offer a permanent Plumber role in HMP Durham, Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3HU.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30; Friday 07:30 - 15:30; Saturday to Sunday 08:00 - 15:00. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. You will also be required to take part in an on-call rota, paid separately.
