Plumber - Responsive Repairs (Social Housing)

Location: Multiple Sites in Liverpool, UK

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Plumber to join a well-established contractor, delivering responsive maintenance services across occupied social housing properties in Liverpool and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work with the potential to move into a permanent position. You'll be working within a supportive and professional team focused on maintaining high standards of service for tenants and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend tenant properties to diagnose and carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Work on various reactive jobs including leaks, burst pipes, tap replacements, blocked drains, bathroom repairs, and general plumbing issues.
  • Deliver a customer-focused service, maintaining professionalism in occupied homes.
  • Accurately record job details, ensure completion of documentation, and report follow-up requirements where necessary.
  • Maintain health and safety standards and comply with company procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Full UK Driving Licence - must be able to travel between jobs using the Company Van & Fuel Card
  • Proven experience in responsive repairs or maintenance work within social housing or similar residential environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
