Plumber – Social Housing.

Location: Basildon

Salary: £34,000. Van & Fuel Card. Excellent benefits.

The Role

Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance on occupied and void social housing properties.

Undertake basic multi‑trade tasks such as carpentry, drainage, groundworks, and patch plastering when required.

Use a handheld device (training provided) to receive and complete jobs efficiently.

Deliver high‑quality work with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota when required.

About You

Experienced plumber or plumbing multi‑trader, ideally from a social housing or domestic maintenance background.

Able to work independently and take pride in delivering top‑quality repairs.

Strong health & safety awareness.

Knowledge of heating and hot water systems is advantageous.

Requirements

NVQ Level 2.

CSCS card – blue or working towards.

Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic, held for at least 12 months).
