Job summary

PLM consultant role focusing on translating client needs into practical PLM solutions across engineering and manufacturing workflows. You’ll configure Windchill/Creo/ThingWorx, lead workshops, and ensure data migration and integration with ERP/IoT platforms.

You’ll build strong client relationships, manage delivery against timelines and budgets, provide training, and stay ahead of PLM trends as a trusted advisor in a PE-backed tech environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in consultancy or client-facing roles.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical solution recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into clear PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows, business rules and industry requirements.
• Support software installation, configuration, customisation and data migration.
• Integrate PLM solutions with ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.
• Lead implementation activity, keeping projects on track against timelines and budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops to help client teams get the most from the system.
• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for PLM-related issues.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project.
• Stay current on PLM trends, best practice and emerging digital transformation technologies.
