Job summary

PLM is seeking a consultant with 2–4 years of client-facing experience to translate business needs into practical PLM solutions across product development and lifecycle management.

You will configure PLM systems, integrate with ERP/CAD/IoT, lead implementation, and deliver training while maintaining strong client relationships. A background in IT/engineering is desirable and proactive self-management is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ consultancy or similar client-facing experience.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Experience with PLM tools such as Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx.
• A background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical recommendations.

What will your day to day look like?

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management

• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for PLM-related issues
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project
• Stay current on PLM trends, best practice and emerging digital transformation technologies

You’ll play a key role in helping clients improve efficiency, strengthen collaboration and get more value from their product lifecycle management processes.

This role will suit you if you

• 2-4 years’ experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing role
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments
• Experience with PTC solutions such as Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx
• A background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related field
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations
• Basic project management experience
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Confidence running workshops, training sessions and client conversations
• Strong listening skills and solid consulting acumen
• Self-driven, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload
• Ability to adapt to different client environments and project requirements
• A drive to keep developing your technical and consulting skills
