UKCIL Ltd. in Great Massingham is seeking a friendly, reliable P.A. to support a lady with ME and mobility needs. Hours are 9–1 on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri (16 hours weekly), with potential cover on Wed 9–1 if required. Duties include meal prep, personal and domestic care, and assistance with errands.

A driving license is preferred and owning a car is advantageous. A dog-friendly helper is requested and female applicants are preferred due to personal care responsibilities.

To provide support for a lady with M.E and mobility issues

Details

I am a married woman with M.E. whose support needs vary according to the state of my health from day to day. I have limited mobility at home, and use a wheelchair when going out. My Current P.A. is leaving on the 6th November so i’m looking to take someone on for when current P.A leaves. I would like a friendly, understanding P.A. to work mom, tues, thurs and fri from 9-1 with the ability to occasionally cover wed 9-1 if required.

I need help with general domestic tasks, including meal prep, tidying, and running errands (shopping, collecting prescriptions), and I also need some help with personal care (showering, dressing etc) although my husband also helps with this. We have a friendly lazy dog called bella so my P.A. needs to like animals, I would like her to be let out into the garden but dog walking is not required.

Summary terms and conditions

• The rate of pay for this position is £16.28 per hr
• Hours and times of work: 16hrs weekly. Mon, tues, thurs Fri, 9-1 occasionally this may need to be flexible but would be pre arranged.
• You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
• Free Care Skills Training provided to employed staff

The post is subject to the following

• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
