PLC Support Engineer / Controls Engineer (CNC Machinery)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Premium Overtime + Highly Autonomous + Product Training + Life Insurance + Benefits

Site based, commutable from Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Barnsley and surrounding areas.

This company are a very well established business with over a century providing specialised solutions to their sector, and due to increasing demand they are looking to hire a technical specialist who they can invest in the continued development of.

On offer is a PLC Support Engineer / Controls Engineer position where you will be responsible for supporting customers with fault finding, diagnosis and resolution of electrical and PLC problems across a range of CNC machinery, this is a predominantly office based position with some travel to client sites.

This role would suit a Controls / PLC Engineer looking to continue their development, working highly autonomously as part of a close knit team of experts working on specialised equipment and cementing themselves as a technical expert.

The Role:

• Fault Find, Diagnosis and resolution of electrical / plc software issues
• Client facing with remote and in person assistance when required
• Working on Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuc controls

The Person:

• Experienced with Fault Diagnosis of Electrical and PLC Software issues
• PLC writing experience
• Full UK Drivers License
