Job summary

A machinery manufacturing firm is looking for a skilled PLC Software Engineer in Billericay, UK. You will develop and implement PLC software for bespoke automated systems across regulated industries. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in PLC programming, preferably Siemens, and strong problem-solving skills. Experience in regulated sectors like pharmaceuticals or automotive is required. The role includes collaboration with engineering teams and occasional travel for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience with pharmaceutical equipment or regulated sectors like food, medical devices, or automotive.
• Experience in delivering automation solutions for special purpose machinery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement PLC software for automated machinery.
• Support machine FAT/SAT activities and commissioning.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
