Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking a PLC Software Engineer to own a live TwinCAT 3 PLC platform deployed on industrial equipment across the UK. The role focuses on developing new software, improving control systems and commissioning equipment.

The successful candidate will fault-find on live systems, collaborate with electrical, process and software engineers, and contribute to long-term product development with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience programming in Structured Text (IEC).
• Experience supporting live industrial control systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on commissioning and fault-finding experience.
• Full right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Develop TwinCAT 3 Structured Text software.
• Write PLC logic, sequences, alarms and interlocks.
• Commission industrial control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults remotely and on-site.
• Support and improve existing PLC software.
• Work closely with electrical, process and software engineers.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite)
Job Type: Permanent Full Time

The Role

As a PLC Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of a live TwinCAT 3 PLC platform used on industrial equipment across the UK.

You'll develop new software, improve existing control systems, commission equipment, fault‑find on live systems and work closely with electrical, process and software engineers.

This is a long‑term product development role where you'll see your software running on real‑world industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop TwinCAT 3 Structured Text software
• Write PLC logic, sequences, alarms and interlocks
• Commission industrial control systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults remotely and on-site
• Support and improve existing PLC software
• Work closely with electrical, process and software engineers
