Job summary

Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic team player for a 30-hour-per-week role, delivering coaching across boys’ and girls’ development programmes from late afternoons to evenings, with some weekend sessions.

You will be part of a core team delivering activities, including skills centres, development camps and matchday packages, promoting the Trust’s values and working with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Skills Centres (boys’ and girls’ tier 1)
  • Player Development Centres (boys’ tier 2&3/girls’ tier 2/girls’ tier 3 Emerging Talent Centre)
  • Futsal Centre(s)
  • Matchday Packages (including football Tour visitors)
  • Football Development Camps
  • Player Development Events
  • To actively demonstrate and promote the Trust’s core values through your work.#
  • Adhere to the Trust’s policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the Trust.
  • To work in partnership with all the Club’s departments on community initiatives as identified by the Community Director and Board of Trustees.
  • To actively promote the Trust in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • To undertake any other duties which might reasonably be deemed within the status of the job and appropriate to the post.

Job description

Department: Football and Education Projects

Reporting to: Head of Football and Education

Hours: 30 hours per week – weekday afternoon & evening, with some occasional weekend delivery.

Salary: £19,890 pa

Passport/Visa: Must be eligible to work in the UK

Location: Watford FC Training Ground / Vicarage Road / Trust Community Facilities / remote working due to nature of the role.

Contract Type: 12 month, fixed term

Closing Date: 8th October. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we identify a suitable candidate prior to the closing date.

Are you a passionate team player who wants to make a positive difference to grassroots footballers in Hertfordshire and Harrow?
