Job summary

Victim Support is seeking a part-time Play Therapist based at our Chandlers Ford office in Hampshire. You will assess children for play therapy and deliver interventions in line with ethical guidelines, with occasional travel to other venues across Hampshire.

You will create detailed reports, provide recommendations, and work within a child-centered, supportive environment that values wellbeing and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Accredited Play Therapist qualification from BAPT or PTUK.
• Experience working with children in a play therapy setting.
• Experience using monitoring tools to record therapy outcomes.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Effective communication with children and supporting adults.
• Fluent in computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assess the suitability of children and young people for play therapy and provide interventions.
• Create reports evidencing the support provided and give recommendations.
