Our client, a respected childcare provider in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part‑time Play Practitioner to join their team, to cover Afterschool Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

As a Play Practitioner, you will work closely with our experienced team to plan and implement age‑appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. You will be responsible for ensuring that each child receives individualised attention and support, helping them to develop their unique talents and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and facilitating engaging play activities that promote learning and development
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate records, and sharing insights with parents and colleagues
  • Ensuring the safety and well‑being of children at all times, adhering to our client's policies and procedures
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well‑resourced play area
  • Assisting with daily routines, such as meals, naps, and toileting
Qualifications
