Job summary

Crayke CE Primary School is seeking a warm, energetic Play Co-ordinator to lead lunchtime play provision (12:00–13:15, 6.25 hours/week) during term time. The role requires safeguarding vigilance and a inclusive approach to pupil wellbeing, with responsibilities including coordinating play ambassadors and maintaining a safe, joyful lunch period.

The successful candidate will have Enhanced DBS clearance and experience supporting social development among pupils, including those with SEND, while

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lunchtime play provision from 12:00–13:15 daily during term time.
• Ensure play activities are inclusive, safe and joyful for all pupils.
• Lead pupil play ambassadors and promote positive social and emotional development.
