Job summary

IG Group is seeking a Senior Platform SRE to own reliability across its hybrid AWS/Nomad stack. You will implement comprehensive monitoring and tracing, set SLOs, and automate resilience improvements. You’ll work with Platform Engineering and product teams to raise reliability as the default across production services.

You will mentor junior SREs, lead blameless PIRs, and run hypothesis-driven chaos experiments to shrink blast radii and improve systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on observability and production reliability experience.
• Proven ability to design and measure customer-focused SLIs and error budgets.
• Strong automation, CI/CD, and incident-response experience in large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the reliability platform with monitoring and tracing.
• Set and improve SLOs, error budgets, and production readiness processes.
• Lead incident response, PIRs, and post-incident learning across teams.
• Design chaos experiments and automate self-healing and deploy strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote reliability patterns in a guild/team.
